Hi, I’m Trista McNamara—an Arizona‑certified educator who has always believed that learning should feel meaningful, calm, and full of possibility. My journey began in the classroom, where I spent six years teaching in Arizona’s public school system after earning my Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Arizona and my Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement. I loved watching students light up with understanding, but I also saw how traditional classrooms often leave little room for curiosity, individuality, or the kind of personalized support so many children need.

That realization is what led me to create Inspirited Education. I wanted a space where children could be met exactly where they are—supported gently, challenged thoughtfully, and encouraged to grow at a pace that feels right for them. I believe learning should be engaging and empowering, and that every child deserves to feel capable and confident in their abilities. Partnering with families is a huge part of that process; your involvement isn’t just welcomed, it’s essential.

When I work with students, I focus on the areas where they need the most support, using insights from their classroom teachers and real‑life examples to make learning clear and relatable. I design hands‑on, enjoyable activities that help concepts stick and build genuine confidence. Whether your child needs help with reading, writing, science, or study skills, my goal is always the same: to guide them with care, clarity, and creativity.

Outside of teaching, I’m someone who finds a lot of joy in staying connected to the world around me. You can usually find me hiking desert trails, camping under the stars, or soaking in the quiet of nature. At home, I’m often with my dogs, out for a run, at the gym, or curled up with a good book—sometimes in my hammock on a warm Arizona evening. Time with friends and family keeps me grounded, and that same calm, steady energy is what I bring into every session with the children and families I support.
